Delivery Associate

Lakeway Logistics, an Authorized Independent Service Provider for FedEx, is looking for package delivery drivers to serve the scenic suburbs of Lakeway, Texas.

As a Lakeway Logistics driver, you will have:

• 10+ hour shifts starting between 7:00 - 9:00 am
• Compensation starting at $150/day for training, $175 once you're on your own

What you can expect on the job:

• An active, busy work environment, where you will be provided with a pre-planned route plan to guide your deliveries throughout the day
• Upwards of 150 stops per day
• An independent work environment where you are provided with the resources necessary to meet and exceed expectations
• Loading your step van and/or bulk truck quickly and accurately with packages up to 150 lbs.
• New experiences and knowledge of the expanding and evolving logistics/e-commerce industry

What we ask of you:

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license, and preferably a DOT Med Card
• Be physically able to comfortably get in and out of a large vehicle over 150 times per day
• Be able to handle packages up to 150 lbs (with the assistance of a provided cart)
• Have experience with Commercial Motor Vehicles (though no CDL is required, it is a plus!)
• Have experience with package route delivery (think Amazon DSP, UPS, FedEx,etc.  We are not looking for drivers with experience only through DoorDash or Amazon Flex)
• Be available for an increased workload, as well as extra shifts during our busy holiday season (November through December)
• Be comfortable being customer-facing, treating customers with the highest respect and delivering to their specifications
• 1 year minimum verifiable driving experience through employment within the past 3 years, or 6 months over the past year in vehicles over 10k lb
• Be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and have a clean motor vehicle record
• Be punctual, reliable, and have excellent time-management skills
